The Pirates proved Leonard a prophet as they did everything right most of the game.
The NFV gals fell behind early, trailing by 12 at the end of the first quarter and by 19 at the half. The Pirates increased their lead to 23 points entering the final eight minutes of play when the TigerHawks caught fire.

Regan Wolverton led NFV with a dozen points. Kim Rounds had a pair of 3-pointers in collecting eight points. Kaitlin Dinan came off the bench to lead the team in rebounds with four.
